Partial dentures
Used when a large amount of teeth is missing on one or both arches
It is formed with a metal structure that holds on the remaining teeth and in the same time holds artificial teeth.​
2. Complete dentures
Used when all teeth are missing on one or both arches. It is designed entirely in plastic with or without a metal support. It gains its retention only from the supporting and surrounding oral structures.
